If you grew up in the north Dallas suburbs, you probably remember a now-legendary Prestonwood Mall hangout called the Mucky Duck. Harder Concepts founders Brian Harder and Jerry Elliott practically cut their teeth at that place, and while they can’t bring back the mall (or the Tilt), they have recaptured the spirit of that dearly departed drinkery with their own Mucky Duck, a family-owned, neighborhood pub located on Addison Circle. Featuring a full bar, great food, and a carefully curated beer selection that’s heavy on Texas-made brews, the Mucky Duck is a comfortable spot to kick it, whether you’re inside watching a game on one of their HD flat screens or out on the covered patio enjoying a cold, craft beer.
